57th Anniversary & Disorganized Quartet Contest
The Newyorkers Chorus celebrated its 57th anniversary
with its annual "disorganized quarted Contest"
The winners of the Disorganized Quartet Contest were:
 1st Place - Director's Cut
 2nd Place - River Rats
 3rd Place - Eight Feet Underground

Two new members were added to the "Order of the Sons of Methuselah"

55th Anniversary & Disorganized Quartet Contest

On July 27th, 2016 the Newyorkers Celebrated 55 years of existance.
At the celebration, a Disorganized Quarted Contest was held. The NE District quartet "Take 4" both performed for our enjoyment and judged the contest.
The winners of the Disorganized Quartet Contest were:
 1st Place - (Tenor) Don Brewer, (Bari) Frank Ruggiero, (Lead) Jack Ostmark, (Bass) Bob Rich
 2nd Place - (Tenor) Frank Ruggiero, (Lead) Jack Tacinelli, (At Table) Steve Miller, (Bass) Bob Rich, (Bari) Bill Standish
 3rd Place - (Bass) John Hadigan, (Bari) Mike Murphy, (Lead) Steve Miller, (Tenor) Eric Dickstein

 
 
50th Anniversary Celebration
The Newyorkers Chorus celebrated their 50th Anniversary in June 2011
There was a show, a dinner and a boat ride. A great time was had by all. Newyorkers from near and far came to help celebrate the occasion

Contest Appearances
The Barbershop Harmony Society holds various contests where chorus' and quartets are evaluated in various catetgories (Music, Singing, Performance).
There is a Division qualifying contest, followed by a District contest
and lastly an International contest.
The Newyorkers have appeared many times at both Division and District contests.

Valentines Day 2020

On Valentine's Day 2020, Dover Boys and Four Reasons sang at various locations throughout Ulster, Orange and Dutchess counties. They sang from 9:00am through the day and ended at 8:00pm.
They brought joy to all the recipients, and had a great time themselves.
